(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that the upslope flow behind the exiting mid-level low pressure center will move toward the east today, March 7, which means we will see scattered/lingering snow showers, that should mostly be relegated to higher elevations, end by this afternoon.
These high-elevation snow showers could produce another inch or less of snow. Lipson added that we could see some intervals of sun this afternoon, with clearing skies tonight, followed by dense, patchy fog after midnight into tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also shared that temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees below normal, with lows dropping into the single digits/teens tonight as clouds clear out.
High temperatures will be in the lower 30’s for most today.
