The Lander Library is currently seeking applicants for seasonal, part-time maintenance and custodial duties. The shift will be in the mornings, 15-20 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Qualified applicants are responsible individuals who can carry out oral and written instruction and work on their own without constant supervision. Knowledge of and experience with lawn care and gardening is a big plus. $12-$14/hour.
Grounds Maintenance Duties:
-Weed and clean flower beds and rock scape areas.
-Prune trees and shrubs.
-Transplant flora from one landscaped area to another.
-Thin grasses in flower beds.
-Sweep sidewalks, outdoor entryways, and courtyard.
-Weed eat along sidewalks, buildings, trees, and other landscape/grounds structures.
Custodial Duties:
-Clean/sanitize public and staff restrooms.
-Clean walls, mirrors, sinks, toilets. Sweep and mop floors.
-Vacuum carpeted areas.
-Empty trash cans throughout building, inside and outside.
-Wash windows inside and outside.
