(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that today, August 3, will see near normal temperatures, with showers and storms being more isolated and restricted mainly to northern Wyoming.
The NWSR added that elevated to critical fire weather will continue into next week, with a Red Flag Warning issued for portions of Fremont County starting Monday at noon. (A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.)
Highs will be in the 80s for most today, with lows tonight in the 50s.
