(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 13, will be partly sunny with widely scattered morning showers, followed by numerous showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, some with small hail, wind gusts of 45 miles per hour, and locally heavy rainfall, as a much-needed monsoonal moisture makes a comeback from the south. Temperatures will be much cooler due to the clouds and rain, with a high around 80 degrees.
Tonight, widespread showers and thunderstorms will continue in the evening, some with locally heavy rainfall and vivid lightning. A few additional showers can be expected past midnight, with a low in the mid-50s.
