(Fremont County) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and move northeasterly through the afternoon, today, September 11.
Strong winds gusting up to around 60 mph are possible as these storms move through.
This follows similar conditions that occurred last night throughout Fremont County, where 55-70 mph wind gusts affected much of the area.
Currently, WY-28 South Pass roads are closed to all high-profile vehicles under 20000 GVW, with all campers under 20,000 LBS also restricted, due to extreme blow-over risk.
