(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has shared that today, May 17, will be a little warmer, with showers and thunderstorms moving across the area from southwest to northeast through the afternoon.
Gusty outflow winds are expected with this activity, the NWSR also advises, and a system will push into western Wyoming tonight, bringing widespread precipitation on Sunday.
High temperatures will be in the 50’s and 60’s today, with Riverton at 70 degrees, and lows tonight will be in the 40’s for most.
