(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 Meterologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 15, will have slightly cooler temperatures and sunny skies.
Lipson added that we could see some isolated afternoon and early evening thunderstorms today, a few with wind gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour, mainly over southeast Fremont County and over the higher terrain surrounding the Wind River basin, followed by clear to partly cloudy conditions tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that we can expect similar conditions over the weekend, with a warming trend and increased fire danger heading into next week.
Highs will be in the upper 70s to upper 80s today, with lows tonight in the 60s.
