(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School senior Addi Rounds officially signed to continue her soccer career at the next level during a ceremony on Wednesday afternoon at Bob Carey Memorial Fieldhouse in Lander. Rounds will attend Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska, where she plans to study nursing. She was joined by friends, family, coaches, and school staff to celebrate.

Rounds said she chose Northeast because of her interest in nursing and her desire to help others. “It’s just something I’m passionate about, helping other people,” she said.
While she’s excited for the next chapter, Rounds admitted leaving Lander won’t be easy. “I’ll miss the outdoors here a lot,” she said. She added that leaving her Lander teammates and community will be difficult. “They’re all my best friends, and I’ve created such close relationships here.”
With the high school soccer season still ahead, the team will be led by a talented group of seniors, and they’ll have the opportunity to play for a new coach. Rounds says she’ll be focused on growth and leadership during her final season at Lander. “I think my main goal is to persevere and learn more,” said Rounds. “It’ll be different with a new coach, but I’m ready to create new relationships and help lead the team.”
