A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.
(Fremont County, WY) – The Lander Valley High School (LVHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) crew had an amazing showing at the recent State competition, where they had six 1st Place finishes, one 2nd Place, three in 3rd Place, and four 4th Place finishers.
There were 28 chapters statewide with over 500 competitors, and out of the 17 that LVHS brought, 12 are now eligible for Nationals in Anaheim, CA.
“We took a young group with only 1 junior, 6 sophomores and 10 freshman,” advisor John Rounds shared. “It was great to see our younger competitors compete as well; Lachlan Gebhart took three 1st Place trophies and Lyla Rounds was 1st in two events.”
“Our Community Service Project and American Enterprise Project also placed first, which was great to see happen again this year,” Rounds added. “Additionally, Lyla Rounds was elected the new Wyoming FBLA State Secretary.
