A series to share #smiles across our community through the achievements of our local youth, brought to you by Olsen Orthodontics.
(Laramie, WY) – Last week, County 10 shared that Lander Valley High School Future Business Leaders of America advisor John Rounds was named the Wyoming FBLA Adviser of the Year at the 2026 Wyoming FBLA State Leadership Conference in Laramie, and Rounds teased some of the accomplishments the LVHS FBLA crew had at the event.
Rounds has since shared with County 10 that there were 26 chapters from across the state at the conference, with over 450 total competitors across 60+ events.
“We took 17 LVHS FBLA members down to compete and 13 of them placed in the top 4 in their respective events,” Rounds said, some of whom as teams, and some individually.
All of the placers qualified to compete at Nationals in San Antonio in late June/early July, Rounds added.
“We are blessed at LVHS to have great students to work with that give their full effort to the process and learn and grow as a result.”
