Three Riverton High School seniors have enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. at a ceremony Tuesday morning in the commons at Riverton High School, where Jameson Spradlin, Oswaldo Pena, and Jake Hobbs-Messer met with local Marine Corps recruiter Sergeant Jeremiah Stover.

Riverton senior Jameson Spradlin is enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Joining him Tuesday morning were his mother, Christen, and father, Jay Spradlin, and local recruiter, Jeremiah Stover – Randy Tucker

Spradlin is a legacy Marine. His father Jay is a retired 20-year veteran of the Corps. Spradlin will take basic training at Paris Island, South Carolina, this summer with the goal of joining the Marine Reconnaissance unit.
