You may have noticed the smoke smell sticking around Riverton today. County 10 also received a few questions about fire crews on Riverview Road and Riverview Cutoff Road. We headed over to answer those questions.
Fremont County Fire District is burning hay at the intersection of Riverview Road and West Mount Splendor Drive northeast of Riverton. They are filling their trucks at the bridge on Riverview Cutoff Road. No other details were provided as to why the hay is being burned or otherwise.
There are several trucks driving back and forth between the two locations so use caution while in the area.
