(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, July 31, smoke from wildfires in the Intermountain West will produce hazy skies.
Temperatures will be hot with a high in the mid-90s under full sunshine. The minimum relative humidity should drop to 8%, and we could see some isolated thunderstorms, mainly over the higher terrain. Tonight looks mostly clear, with lows in the 55 to 60 degree range.
For tomorrow, Saturday, conditions will be sunny and hot with a high around 100 degrees. If the temperature does reach 100, this will be the first time the Riverton Airport has ever reached 100 degrees in the month of August. Additionally, the minimum relative humidity will dip down to 7% on Saturday.
