White Buffalo organized a walk in Ethete yesterday “to combat addiction in all our communities,” shared Lance.
Four separate groups walked from Wyoming Indian High School, Sundance Grounds, Arapahoe Housing Office, and the Little Wind Casino meeting in the middle at St. Michael’s Circle. Lance noted, walking in “four directions to one location symbolizing coming together as communities for strength and unity.”
He also shared, “Other tribal programs were also involved, there were speakers and a drum group with honor songs and prayers. It was a very awesome event.”
