(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a New Year’s Eve, reinforcing cold front will sweep through the area today, December 31, which will bring snow flurries and partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Lipson added that tonight will be clear to partly cloudy, with potential for the coldest temperatures of the season.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that wind should remain light to moderate, and that better chances of snow return to the west Wednesday.
High temperatures will vary across the 10 today, with Lander, Dubois, Jeffrey City and Shoshoni in the 20’s, Riverton at 31 degrees, and the South Pass area down in the teens.
Lows tonight will be in the teens and single digits.
