(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 23, will have increasing clouds as a weak trough of low pressure approaches the area.
This trough could result in some snow flurries this afternoon in the Lander Foothills and the east slope of the Wind River Mountains, Lipson added, with clear conditions expected tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that those west of the divide can expect more snow across the western Mountains. The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 7 PM tonight across the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.
High temperatures will be in the 40’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 20’s.
