(Fremont County, WY) – Snow has officially made its first appearance in the 10 and surrounding areas, going into the 2025/26 Winter season.
The National Weather Service in Riverton shared the following WYDOT webcam photo of Togwotee Pass taken early this morning, September 15.
“It is mid-September in WY, which means cooler temperatures and, yes, snow. Here is a current look at Hwy 20/26 Togwotee Pass as of 0811AM 9/15. Rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the region through the afternoon, with snow possible above 10,000 ft.”
County 10 reader Jedadiah Meeks snapped the following pics of snowcaps in the Wind River and Owl Creek Mountain areas.
The NWSR has also reported that further snowfall is expected in similar areas through the week, continuing into Thursday.
