Summer farmers markets still have a LOT to offer! The weekly Wednesday Market at Riverton City Park starts at 5 pm and offers a wide range of locally produced garden vegetables, as well as fresh fruit from Utah: plums, peras, peaches and cherries.
Staples to stock your winter pantry are plentiful and include fresh pickles, jams, jellies, bbq sauces, and canned goods. Of course, fresh baked goods, dairy products and eggs are available. There is lots of frozen, locally produced meat including beef, lamb and chicken.
There are only 3 more markets this season so now is a great time to fill your freezer and pantry shelves with high quality foods, supporting our local producers and helping your money stay in our community to help others who live here too. Hope to see YOU there!
