At approximately 2:45 pm, a grass fire was reported on US 26 west of the WY132/133 intersection. Winds kicking up quickly moved the fire into a structure, according to scanner traffic. Multiple Fremont County Fire Protection Battalions have responded.
Scanner traffic also indicated the structure was unoccupied. No reports of injuries have come through at this time.
US 26 was also temporarily closed, but as of 3:20 pm, it has reopened to thru-traffic. Watch for law enforcement on scene as they are slowing traffic down. You can expect delays.
