(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that behind last night’s reinforcing Arctic cold front, today, January 20, will be frigid cold under mostly sunny skies.
Lipson added the temperatures will get even colder tonight, especially in the Lander/Riverton area, where lows could get to 20-25 degrees below zero, with some areas near rivers and in lower elevations dropping down to -30 degrees.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that there will be a breezy wind for most today as well, and that Tuesday will see the arrival of slightly warmer air and windy conditions for much of the area.
High temperatures will be in the negative single digits for most today, with lows tonight in the negative teens and negative 20’s.
