(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 21, will be sunny and warm again, with a high around 80 degrees.
The pressure gradient will begin to tighten up again as the large area of high pressure flattens out, resulting in increasing west winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph. With the wind, warm temperatures, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation, fire danger will be high today.
Tonight, a dry cold front will swing through the area, and winds ahead of the cold front will continue to blow out of the west at 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph in the evening. After the front swings through, the winds will veer to the northwest at 25 to 35 mph under partly cloudy skies, with lows around 40 degrees.
