(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 10, as high pressure builds back into the area, we can expect sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s with light winds.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Tomorrow, Monday, will be windy as a trough of low pressure tracks east across southern Canada and tightens the pressure gradient, thus flattening out the ridge. Expect west winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour. These winds will usher in much warmer temperatures with highs in the mid-80s, and we could see some Virgo showers in the afternoon, but no rain is expected to reach the ground.
Lipson says that with these winds and warm temperatures, combined with a minimum relative humidity of around 10%, we will likely have high fire danger on Monday.
