(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, October 2, will be sunny and even warmer than yesterday.
Southwest winds will develop this afternoon with gusts up to 25 mph, Lipson added, ahead of a cold front that will sweep through the area tonight, under clear skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that warmer temperatures and gusty winds today will give way to critical fire weather conditions this afternoon and evening.
Highs will be in the 80’s for most today, with Dubois at 70 degrees and the South Pass area down to 68 degrees.
Lows tonight will be in the 40’s for most.
