County 10 loves the holidays! I mean, have you checked out our holiday page with a County-wide Christmas Lights map?!
That’s why when we were asked to be the guest judge for the 2020 Riverton Holiday Festival Home Decorating Contest, we jumped at the opportunity. Registration for this contest was different from simply dropping your address on our Lights Map and we appreciate everyone who entered the contest!
First though, you may be asking – what do the winners get? Creating one-of-a-kind awards for each of the Riverton Holiday Festival’s contest categories this year are our friends over at Maker Space 307! Check out the awards in the featured image.
After much deliberation and viewing of decorations, we are excited to announce this year’s award winners!
Winning both the “Clark Griswold Award for Going Waaaay Over the Top” and receiving a whopping 88 votes for the “People’s Choice Award Voted by County 10 Social Media Readers” is this home located on South 1st.
The “Christmas Card Award for Traditional Elegance” winner is this home located on West Sunset.

“Puff Pastry Award for Most Creative Use of Inflatables” goes to this home on West Fremont.
County 10 had to find a house that fit into the “That’s ‘R’ Town Award for Best Use of Vehicles and/or Storage Containers” category due to none of the registrants fitting this, which is why it wasn’t a People’s Choice voting option. We were fortunate to find this winner on Moose Drive.

And finally, the “Charlie Brown Award for Participation” goes to this home on North Point Drive.
