(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has provided a weather outlook for holiday travel this week, as we head into Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and the holiday weekend.
The NWSR’s current five-day forecast predicts that in the days leading up to Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, high elevation snow is probable. Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday look to have seasonably warm temperatures and dry conditions.
However, the NWSR advises that although “there is still significant uncertainty” regarding locations/impacts/snowfall totals, “confidence is increasing regarding a potent Winter storm” expected to follow the mild holiday conditions.
