The 18th Annual Paws and Pearls banquet to benefit the PAWS for Life Animal League is Saturday, September 7th, at 6:00 P.M. in the St. Margaret’s School Gym. The annual event funds the care and protection of animals in the Riverton area that are turned in or found abandoned until proper, forever homes can be located.
This year’s theme, The Shelter Stars of Pawlywood, will feature a “red carpet” of all the “stars” of Riverton’s no-kill animal shelter.
Guests are invited to sample an assortment of wines, beers, and spirits. The evening will feature a catered dinner from The Private Chef, and a live auction that will include a 307 Collectors Edition AR-15. Adding to the festivities, Fremont County’s favorite musicians, the Lost Springs Band, will keep the dance floor full.
Attendees also have the chance to win raffle items. This year the Men’s Raffle item is a 300 PRC rifle with a Swarovski scope, generously donated by Wind River Outdoor Company and Swarovski. The Women’s Raffle item is a signature white gold and diamond paw necklace, donated by Golden Buffalo. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event for $10 each.
Tickets for the event are priced at $50 each and are available for purchase at the Stock Doc, Riverton Animal Shelter, or WyoToday.
For those unable to attend, there’s still an opportunity to contribute. Donations, whether monetary or items of need, can be made to the shelter, ensuring continued support for the animals in their care.
This is a chance to come together as a community and show a little of our Hollywood glamour while making a meaningful impact on the lives of animals in need. The 18th Annual Paws and Pearls banquet promises an evening of food, fun, goodwill, and celebration.
