The 20th Annual Paws and Pearls banquet to benefit the PAWS for Life Animal League is Saturday, September 12th, at 6:00 P.M. at the Wind River Hotel & Casino in Riverton. The annual event funds the care and protection of animals in the Riverton area that are turned in or found abandoned until proper, forever homes can be located.
What to Expect:
- Dinner & Wine Tasting – Indulge in a delicious meal while sampling a variety of wines and spirits from amazing vendors.
- Exciting Raffles & Live Auction – Bid on incredible items and experiences, with every dollar raised going directly to rescue, medical care, and re-homing efforts for animals in need.
- Cash Bar & Free Samples – Explore unique flavors with complimentary tastings and access to a full cash bar throughout the night.
This year’s auction includes a Tommy Gun, Colt 1911, Winchester rifle, and Snub Nose Revolver! A very exciting auction package includes an American Flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol on July 4th, 2026 donated by Senator John Barrasso, as well as a “Liberty” fire pit from Porter’s, to celebrate the country’s 250th birthday.
Tickets for the event are priced at $50 each and are available for purchase at the Riverton Animal Shelter (515 South Smith Rd.)
For those unable to attend, there’s still an opportunity to contribute. Donations, whether monetary or items of need, can be made to the shelter, ensuring continued support for the animals in their care.
Every dollar raised goes directly to providing food, vaccines, crucial vet care, and a safe haven for our deserving animals, giving them the second chance they need.
