Every Friday night, a dedicated group of fans could be found cheering in the stands for Riverton High School football. But for Ryan Cox, it wasn’t just the crowd noise that stood out—it was a group of familiar faces from Community Entry Services (CES). Week after week, they showed up for him.
This summer, Ryan showed up for them.
As the 2025 recipient of the Homer Scott Outstanding Citizen Award, Ryan was given $500 to donate to the nonprofit of his choice. His decision was immediate: give back to CES—the same organization whose clients had supported him game after game.
Ryan’s generous donation is just one example of the kind of community spirit that drives Challenge for Charities, and it’s a powerful reminder of why supporting CES during this annual fundraiser makes a real difference.

CES has been empowering people with disabilities in Fremont County since 1975, providing support and services that allow individuals to live, work, and thrive in the community of their choice.
Through programs that offer safe transportation, community involvement, and access to local events, CES ensures that nearly 130 adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries can experience everything from football games to community fairs—opportunities that many of us might take for granted.
