All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
(Riverton, WY) – The Riverton Police Department has shared that three juvenile suspects are in custody for Aggravated Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery in relation to the reported robberies on Wednesday morning, according to an update shared on the RPD Facebook page this afternoon.
RPD Chief Eric Hurtado confirmed with County 10 that, due to the suspects being juveniles (ages 14-15), names will not be released.
Chief Hurtado went on to share that three full shifts of RPD officers were deployed to investigate the incidents, with 15 officers and other allied agencies working together to gather information, ultimately leading to the arrests.
Chief Hurtado added that more information will be provided this afternoon.
