(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, March 27, will be mostly sunny and will likely be the warmest day of the week.
Lipson adds that there will be southwest winds gusting up to 25 mph, and that a Pacific trough will make landfall by late tonight, which will bring increasing clouds and the possibility of isolated rain showers by sunrise Friday morning.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that the above-normal temperatures forecasted for many locations east of the Divide today could break/tie multiple high-temperature records. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will be a concern in portions of the state today as well.
High temperatures will vary across the 10, with Dubois at 60 degrees, the South Pass area at 55 degrees, and the rest of Fremont County in the 70’s.
