(Cody, WY) – The Lander boys came away from Cody with a decisive 64-40 win over the Broncs Tuesday night, bringing their tally to 5-2 for the season. The Tigers started the game off with a quick 7-0 run to start the first, and they were able to keep Cody at bay for the remainder of the contest with their defense.
Turnovers caused by the tenacious defense of Finn McFadden and Darian Hereford led to easy buckets for the tigers down the stretch. Adding to the win, Paxon Hollingshead was hot from downtown, and Noah St. Clair showed he was eager to score the ball in the paint.
Senior guard Darian Hereford showed his agility as he shifted past his man to the basket. Caleb Andrews flipped the ball up quickly in the paint for two. Senior Noah St. Clair imitated his finger roll after scoring in the lane for the Tigers. 
Junior Finn McFadden beat his man for an easy layup. Stu Mullins talked to his team as they led by 20 before the start of the 4th.

The Tigers will bring the momentum from their big win away down to the Winter Classic in Pinedale, where they’ll have a rematch against #2 Douglas Friday at 5 p.m., Glenrock Saturday at 9:30 a.m., and Rawlins Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
