September 22nd is National Voter Registration Day, according to an announcement from Fremont County Clerk Julie Freese.
She would like to remind folks that if you need to update your registration because your address has changed or you haven’t registered yet, to take this opportunity to get your registration in order.
Absentee ballots can be requested, however, registration needs to be correct before they can be sent, Freese said.
Your voter registration can be checked by calling the Election Office at (307) 332-1088 or (307) 332-1089. Also, you may also register at all City and Town Clerk’s Offices.
