(Lander, WY) – The Challenge for Charities (C4C) Races took place in the early morning hours of July 4 to kick off the holiday’s festivities. This annual event draws hundreds of participants to the area.
Heading out first was the half marathon. The top three finishers for men and women are as follows.
Men: Mason Gilbertson, Robby Lee & Diego Lobatos
Women: Izzy Marshall, Allysa Drinkle & Brooke Ortel
Next up was the 5k Competitive Run.
Men: Kaden Chatfield, Asher Gilbertson & Alex Truax
Women: Brandy Lee, Abby Hart & Dorothy Jense
The 5k Recreational Run followed.
Men: Micah Morgan, Dierk Harms & Jude Dellinger
Women: Chris Horne, Teddi Freedman & Jordan Johnson
5k Walk started next.
Men: Evan Terry, Sam Wilzbacher & Porter Jacobsen
Women: Zya Petersen, Jade Jacobsen & Carmen Jacobsen
1 Mile Older Kids (over age 5) was the second to last race.
Boys: Koen Newman, Ethan Wangberg & Jaxon Brome
Girls: Aiden Johnson, Payson Heller & Laney Myrup
Rounding out the races was the 1 Mile Younger Kids (under 5).
Boys: Paul Chapin, Sacha Izrayelit & Ryder Raile
Girls: Rosie Graf, Kodi Pruett & Sophie Chapin
