UPDATE: The section of US 26 has reopened to thru traffic.
The section of US 26 west of Kinnear between the intersection of WY 133/132 and Diversion Dam is still closed while fuel is being removed from a wrecked fuel truck. Traffic is detoured either toward Johnstown or Pavillion.
At approximately, 7:00 pm this evening, Wyoming Highway Patrol reportedly shared with the WYDOT official on scene, that only about half of the fuel had been removed from the truck. There is still no estimated time of re-opening.
