County 10 received several inquiries about the accident on Tuesday, July 30th around 8:00 pm. Details are very limited since three law enforcement agencies responded to the accident.
Below is what we have been able to find out:
- Two vehicles were involved in the accident at the intersection of Highway 789 and 135.
- Three people were injured and transported to the hospital.
- Traffic was impacted for approximately three hours during the investigation.

It is reported a driver did not stop at the intersection of Gas Hills Road (Hwy 135) and Highway 789. The driver hit a northbound vehicle and was ejected from the driver’s seat. They were life-flighted to Casper for their injuries. The two occupants of the northbound vehicle were taken to the hospital and released. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
