County 10 received inquiries about the crash in a residential area of Lander on August 27th at around 7:00 pm. The following information about the crash was shared by the Lander Police Department.
An intoxicated driver headed westbound on Washakie Street ran the stop sign at the intersection of 9th Street. They collided with a northbound driver. The northbound driver and the passenger of the westbound vehicle were taken to the hospital and released later that evening. 22-year-old Kobey Simpson was arrested for driving while under the influence, cited for reckless driving and stop sign violation according to LPD.
