The American Legion Don Stough Post No. 33 has organized a rededication ceremony of the Fremont County Veterans Memorial located in front of the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander.
The rededication is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 11th, Patriot Day.
“Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come celebrate the renovations to this great memorial tribute to our Veterans,” shared Post 33 Adjutant Ken Persson Sr.
Seating is limited so you may want to bring your own chairs. Social distancing and masks are also encouraged.
The memorial was originally dedicated on July 16th, 2011. The sculpture is by Cody resident John Phelps and was cast by Lander’s Eagle Bronze Foundry.
