(Hudson, WY) – Fremont County Fire Protection District volunteer firefighters in Hudson and various volunteers once again put on their annual Easter Egg Hunt for the local kiddos at the fire hall Saturday morning.
Helpers volunteered hours to make sure eggs were filled, the parking lot was cleared of snow, and that traditions were upheld for the 2025 hunt.
One of those upheld traditions included Veterans of days past giving out big chocolate bunnies as special prizes to kids who found the plastic egg with a star in it.
“To honor the Veterans that have done this and all of the Veterans that are currently around here, we continue that tradition here at the fire department,” Assistant Chief Todd Smith shared. Smith also 3D printed special eggs that had 3D printed toys inside that he made himself.
“Thank you to the town and everybody that helps out to make this event happen every year,” Chief Tyler Downing added.
