(Riverton, WY) – Folks in Riverton got in the holiday/Christmas spirit for the 7th Annual Chrismas Tree Lighting celebration in Jason’s Park Friday night, which is put on each year by R Recreation and the Community Engagement Volunteers.
Attendees were treated to free light-up necklaces to add to the holiday cheer, and were able to warm up thanks to free hot cocoa from The Depot and propane fire pits from Porter’s.
Santa and Mrs. Clause had the honor of lighting the tree, with an assist from local fire crews and an official countdown from the excited crowd.
