(Riverton, WY) – Fremont County’s Master Gardeners will meet this Tuesday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the UW Extension Office, Fremont County Fairgrounds, 814 S Federal Blvd #100 in Riverton.
On the agenda will include farmers’ market and strawberry project reports, a discussion about the community garden at the Soldiers House, a plants and perennials plot at the Shoshone Rose casino, and a request for strawberry starts for this year’s “Grow Our Own” project.
Want to be a Master Gardener? Classes begin on April 7 and continue through May 26, and will be held at Hudson Town Hall and various locations. To be eligible for “Fremont County Master Gardener” status, you must attend at least 7 of the 9 sessions offered.
The cost is $85 and includes a Master Gardeners Handbook. Limited space may be available.
