(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 Meteorologist Dave Lipson has reported that today, July 25, will see a strong, high-pressure system centered over the Southern Rockies and Southern Plains, which will give us hot, sunny, and dry conditions.
Lipson also advises that smoke from the Dragon Bravo fire in the Grand Canyon of Arizona will give us hazy skies today, with mostly clear conditions tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that elevated to critical fire weather conditions will be in place nearly everywhere today through the weekend.
High temperatures will vary across the 10 today, with Lander, Riverton, and Shoshoni in the 90s, Jeffrey City and Dubois in the 80s, and the South Pass area at 79 degrees. Lows tonight will be in the 50s for most.
