(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, September 9, will be partly sunny and warm.
A weak, upper level disturbance will be tracking across the area, Lipson added, which will lead to the possibility of isolated rain showers, mainly over the higher elevations in the Wind River Mountains this afternoon.
Lipson also stated that we can expect a west wind with gusts up to 30 mph as that disturbance moves through, with partly cloudy conditions tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that Critical Fire Weather Conditions are expected today.
High temperatures will be in the 80’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
