(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that moisture associated with a weak upper level disturbance will be riding north and east along the back side of that high pressure ridge to our east, which will give us some widely scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms today, August 19.
Lipson added that it will remain partly cloudy today into tonight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that temperatures continue to be on the warm side for most, with drier and warmer conditions expected tomorrow.
High temperatures will be all over the place today, with Dubois and the South Pass area in the upper 70’s, Lander/Riverton/Jeffrey City in the 80’s, and Shoshoni and Riverton in the lower 90’s.
Lows tonight will be in the 50’s and 60’s.
