(Riverton, WY) – It’s been 23 years since the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001, rocked the country, and communities remember the fallen, survivors, first responders, and others impacted by that day in their own ways.
For Riverton, it’s with a community-organized parade. Wednesday morning at around 8 a.m., a Riverton Police Department escort led the vehicles decorated with flags and red, white, and blue decor from Sutherlands, down Main Street and up by the Middle School and High School and back to Main Street.
