(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, September 13, a low-pressure center will be tracking from the Pacific Northwest to Idaho and across Montana through tonight.
Lipson says this low will swing a vigorous Pacific trough across our area, increasing southwest winds to 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will form along the Wind River Mountains and drift to areas toward the upper Wind River Basin, including Dubois and Crowhart. Lipson added that these showers could produce a few snowflakes above 10,000 feet along the Wind River Mountains.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a few lingering isolated evening showers over the higher terrain, along with west winds of 20 to 30 mph.
