Several social media posts have been floating around causing quite the stir about the happenings at Tonkin Stadium this week. County 10 caught up with the Fremont County School District # 25 Maintenance Director Ted May to get the details on what all is being removed right now.
The upper stands (visitors side) at Tonkin Stadium closed a few years ago due to safety issues with things like rotten wood, Ted shared. Folks still sneak up there from time-to-time, and they do not want anyone to get hurt. Right now, only the upper stands will be coming down strictly for safety issues.
