(Fremont County, WY) – As July 4 celebrations come to an end, semiquincentennial festivities continue in Fremont County to honor the United States’ 250th anniversary. Both Riverton and Lander will hold readings of the Declaration of Independence this Wednesday, July 8.
The Riverton events/reading will start at 4 PM at the Veterans Memorial Park, located at E Pershing Ave (there is no exact address for the Memorial Park, but it is located behind the City Hall building).
Lander’s reading will take place at 12 PM at the Fremont County Courthouse Veterans Memorial courtyard, located at 450 N 2nd St.
The community is invited to attend both readings.
