(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 30, will be partly sunny with widely scattered showers in the morning and isolated afternoon thunderstorms as a cold front sweeps through the area, aiding in putting an end to the summer heat. Highs will again be only near 80 degrees.
Afternoon southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 mph are expected, and winds could gust to 50 mph from any thunderstorms that form.
Tonight will be mostly clear and cool, with lows of 45 to 50 degrees. West-northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected behind the cool front, diminishing by midnight.
