(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, April 10, a low-pressure center way down along the southern California coast will begin to stream moisture northeast all the way into Wyoming, and we can expect hit-and-miss, widely scattered rain showers under partly sunny skies with the highs in the upper 60s.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with widely scattered rain showers and a low around 40 degrees.
Tomorrow, Saturday, moisture and instability will be on the increase, resulting in scattered showers and even a potential thunderstorm can be expected. Any thunderstorms that do form will likely have wind gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour along with small hail. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with a high in the low 70s with west winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour.
Any precipitation that falls in the Wind River Mountains today through tomorrow, Saturday, will likely fall as snow above 9,000 feet, and any thunderstorms that form up in the Wind River Mountains tomorrow, Saturday, will likely produce snow pellets.
