(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, September 17, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon as some monsoonal moisture streams north into the area ahead of a low-pressure center in the Pacific Northwest, with highs in the mid-70s.
Tonight, Lipson says there is a good chance of scattered evening thunderstorms and then widely scattered showers after midnight, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows near 50 degrees. Some thunderstorms this evening will likely produce locally heavy rainfall and small hail, as well as 40-mile-per-hour wind gusts
